• A Resident host will contact you in advance (be sure your cell/e-mail contact is current).
• Casual dinner at a resident's residence.  You may arrange transportation with Resident host in advance.
• Journal Club replaces this on Nov 17th and Dec 15th.

Interview Day Schedule

• On Wednesday mornings you are welcome to come to our didactic series from 7-9AM.
• If staying at the designated hotel, please use their shuttle service.  If traveling from another location, park in IU Health Methodist Hospital Garage 1.  Bring your ticket to the interview session for validation.

Air Travel

If you will be coming by air you will experience one of the nation's highest rated airports. This award winning airport is easy to navigate both inside and out and is one of the newest and nicest airports in the country. It is a 15 minute drive, limo, or taxi from downtown.

For Taxi's there is a $15 minimum charge for all fares from the airport, regardless of distance.

Ground Travel

If you will be traveling by car, you will find that Indianapolis is easliy accessible from all areas of the midwest. Connected by I-65 to Chicago 3 hours to the north and Louisville 2 hours to the south. To the East, Indianapolis is connected to several cities in Ohio: Cincinnati via I-74, and Dayton and Columbus via I-70.

*Of note - If your travels will take you through Louisville, a little extra time or planning may be necessary as the I-64 bridge is closed and traffic is all being diverted to I-65 and I-265.

Your cost will be $49.00 + tax and we will pay the remainder of the hotel bill. The garage parking is included in the price quoted to you. *If you are unable to get to Indianapolis as planned, please call the hotel at (317) 635-2000 to cancel your reservation.

The hotel has a shuttle from the Sheraton to the hospital in the mornings and back to the hotel in the afternoon. If you wish to take the shuttle let them know the night before and that you need to be at Methodist by 8:30 a.m. The shuttle is free and we encourage you to use this complimentary service.

Annotated Methodist Hospital Map

If driving you will park in Garage 1 of Methodist Hospital.

1. Go to the 1st floor and follow the signs to the main hospital (left in a glass enclosed walkway).
2. When you enter the hospital lobby, continue straight ahead. You will pass the gift shop, cafeteria and coffee shop and will go down an inclined hallway.
3. You will then come to another lobby area (“B Building”). 
4. Take a right (south) and follow that hallway all the way to the carpeted area (ending at the Clarian Health Partners executive offices). You will see an elevator on the left.
5. Take that elevator up to the 4th floor.
6. As you exit out the elevator you will see our offices (B401).

If arriving by taxi, you can be dropped off at the Capital (B Building) Entrance and start with #4 above but when you enter the building take a left (south) down the hallway.
