Ultrasound Fellowship

Mission

Our mission is to train great educators in the field of Emergency Ultrasound.

About the Fellowship

  • IU Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship was started in 2012. Here we care for a diverse, pathology-rich population with a combined annual census of over 230,000 patients at three training sites: Methodist Hospital -- Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center, Eskenazi Hospital -- Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center and Riley Children’s Hospital -- Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center.
  • The Emergency Ultrasound division is a collaborator on the REASON 1 Trial: Sonography in Cardiac Arrest.  We are also recipients of the 2013 EMF/Mindray Ultrasound Research Grant.  There are other ongoing projects and many opportunities to become involved.
